Participants purchase and deploy physical nodes that comply with STAI standards. Each device's model, performance profile, identity, service lifecycle, and maintenance status are recorded, and its storage capacity can be expanded within compatible specifications. Each physical node is paired with a cloud node that provides identity services, network connectivity, and ongoing management, enabling the device to connect securely, accept workloads, and report its operational status.
As standardized nodes are deployed across regions, they become more than isolated machines. Together, they form an infrastructure network that can be identified, scheduled, and continuously managed. Capacity expansion is optional; common standards and reliable operation are the foundation of the network.

Data can be served from nodes closer to users or operating sites, reducing long-distance transfers. Replication across nodes, health monitoring, and failure recovery help limit the impact of a device or regional outage. The network can support AI datasets, enterprise backup and archiving, content delivery, image and video assets, IoT data, and regional edge computing.
Why Operate a Node Over the Long Term?
A node is an infrastructure asset designed for ongoing operation. Operators use their nodes to provide storage, edge computing, content delivery, backup, and network services. In return, they can earn service revenue and build a verifiable record of their contributions.

After delivery, the purchaser becomes the device owner. Only after identity and capability verification, followed by continued qualified service, does the participant become a STAI Node Contributor. Service revenue and conditional protocol incentives are recorded separately and depend on real demand, verified contribution, service quality, and ongoing costs. STAI does not guarantee fixed returns.
Keep the Network Operational and Make Every Contribution Verifiable
STAI Node Agent identifies available resources, matches workloads with nodes, schedules tasks, monitors operating status, and assists with recovery when failures occur. STAI Chain records node identity, service duration, workload results, proof of contribution, and settlement evidence.
USDT may serve as a stable unit of account and payment method. STAI Token is designed for four purposes: paying for network services, paying on-chain gas fees, rewarding verified contributions, and helping coordinate network security and governance. Block heights, transactions, and gas usage will become live on-chain state only after the STAI Chain mainnet launches. Specific rules governing conversion, issuance, staking, gas allocation, and token burns remain subject to a formal token-economic model and governance process.
AI can assist with operational decisions and workflows, but it does not hold or control users' private keys. Critical actions, including transfers, staking, voting, penalties, and upgrades, must be confirmed by authorized personnel. Proofs may be recorded on-chain, while raw user data remains off-chain. The value and market performance of STAI Token are not guaranteed.
